We’re excited to welcome you to Segovia Orthodontics at Lakewood Ranch! Our friendly receptionist will be ready to assist you from the moment you arrive.
Dr. Flor Segovia will conduct a thorough orthodontic examination and personally discuss all aspects of treatment with you and your family.
What Happens During the Initial Exam?
Our goal during your first visit is to answer key questions about your orthodontic needs while taking digital X-rays to assess your teeth and jaw alignment.
- Is there an orthodontic issue that needs attention?
- When should treatment begin?
- What type of treatment is recommended?
- How long will treatment take?
- What will the cost of treatment be?
What’s Next?
If orthodontic treatment is recommended, we’ll schedule an appointment to complete your diagnostic records and start treatment. If time allows, we may be able to complete these steps during your initial visit, helping you start your journey toward a confident smile as soon as possible.
What Are Diagnostic Records?
Diagnostic records help us design your personalized treatment plan. These may include:
- Study digital models of your teeth.
- Digital radiographs such as panoramic and cephalogram X-rays.
- Digital photos.
- Detailed tracings and analyses.
Dr. Segovia carefully reviews these records to determine the best course of action for your smile.
Understanding Treatment Costs
The cost of treatment depends on the complexity of the case. During your first visit, our treatment coordinator will provide a detailed overview of fees and payment options.
